Hi, I'm Rowena Olsen, your local Liberal for Kalgoorlie.

I’m a mum to two school-aged daughters, wife, community advocate, mining professional, volunteer, school board member, and am an active member of our local netball association.

 

These roles have given me the privilege of being deeply involved in our community, understanding its challenges, and advocating for its needs.

 

With this experience, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the importance of family, community spirit, and the resilience we show in the face of adversity. These values are essential for the thriving community in which we want to live, raise our families, and feel secure in.

 

Under Labor, childcare shortages, limited access to housing and land, concerns about community safety and frustrating, recurrent power outages have become challenges we’re just expected to put up with.

 

It’s clear that our community's needs are not being met, which is why I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and fight for us once again.

 

It’s time we had a representative who is ready to tackle these issues head-on.

 

As a member of the Liberal team, I’m also fighting for real action on the cost of living, better access to improved healthcare, more resources for our police, and support for local businesses and entrepreneurs to help attract and retain staff.

 

This Labor Government has consistently overlooked the Goldfields. It’s time for us to have a voice that truly advocates for our interests and ensures we get the attention and resources we deserve.
